A stand alone novel about Lacey and her family and the aftermath of finding out about her husband's affair. I listened to the audio version of the book and as I have 'read' other books by the author, I knew the narrators voice. Overall, the book was narrated well, although there was little distinction between the men's voices in that they mostly sounded the same. That apart, I enjoyed the story and enjoyed Lacey's fight back after the shock of being cheated on. The story was well paced and built to a satisfactory ending. There was no huge surprises, but I wasn't looking for one, just a good tale. I'll be reading other books by Molly Harper in the future. At the beginning this book dragged a little bit, but then it picked up steam fast. I love Molly Harpers quirky personality and her random jokes in there. I'm glad to see that the end of the book didn't end how it does for every other book where they end up getting married and so on. Don't get me wrong I like that type of ending when it works, but for this book if she had written that the main character, Lacey, gets married right after she was divorced I would have been very, very skeptical about it. You still got your happy ending, but it was realistic. Overall another great book from her.
