The theology’s skewed in its look at the nature of angels and the relationships and differences between humans and angels—but then this isn’t a work of theology, it’s a work of erotica. And for that it works pretty well. Cole seems like a very dependent personality, either on Daniel, drugs, alcohol and now Raziel.He was literally saved from death, and as soon as he has to survive on his own, he doesn't seek help, he starts drinking again? If he doesn't love himself, how can he really love someone else? What if Raziel is hit by a bus, was all he gave up to love Cole for nought? I guess I just didn't see anything in Cole to make him worthy of Raziels love and sacrifice.
