This might be my favorite of the series so far. Clove & Liam have a long history of thinking the other hates them. They say hurtful things to each other because of this, all while inner dialogue lets us in on their confusion about the whole thing. And finally, FINALLY, they take a minute & actually TALK to each other & find out that they actually really like each other. And of course there's the attraction. : ) Now, this beginning is very similar to Jessie & Blue's story, but the rest is definitely its own story. I love the building of them getting to know each other, their relationships w/ her brother (Dade, also in the band & the build up for his story was expertly done, as well!), and how they navigate through everything. One thing I both liked & disliked in both Jessie/Blue's story and Clove/Liam's story was that everyone around them kept telling them they were in love w/ the other. It was sweet for their friends & family to encourage them & move them along, but at the same time it was a little annoying that EVERYONE kept repeating it. It felt a little pushy. All in all, however, Favorite so far! : ) **I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review****3.5 Stars**Alluring Temptation, book 3 in the Bayou Stix series is Liam and Clove's story. Liam, the pretty boy of the group and Clove, Dade's little sister are like oil and water and have been fighting each other for years. Once again, the author is great at developing her character's and I loved how in Alluring Temptation, the background of their relationship comes out, why there is so much hatred comes to light, each individual finds themselves and together they grow as a couple. Even though there was strong sexual tension between these two, they decided to date and wait to be intimate. I loved how protective Liam was of Clove and the sweet and caring side he showed her. The fact that he steps in and is willing to take care of another man's child and raise him as his own is awesome.Overall, this was a great love story and I enjoyed catching up with the characters from the previous books. I did have an issue with Liam's intimacy with other females in the book. Also, I was left wondering about the child's real father and if at some point he would make an appearance. Looking forward to reading Dade's story.
