About book All Over You (2000)

This was a quick novella in a series. I have not read any of the other books and after this one I'm unsure if I would. The characters were wishy-wasy and the development of a believable relationship was not well done, or actually done at all. I never felt a connection to the characters, Becca and Scott, nor did I feel like they had a connection to each other. They would change their minds and create unnecessary and stupid drama over and over. I get that Becca was unsure about weather to give Scott a second chance but her back and forth was tedious. Some authors can write a great novella with a compelling and sexy story and hook the reader to continue the series and fall in love with the characters, this was not the case with All Over You by Beverley Kendall. All Over YouBeverley KendallThis ARC was given by Self Taught Ninja Press via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.I give this book 3 stars.....Rebecca and Scott are instantly drawn to each other during freshman orientation. They are happy with their relationship and can't get enough of one another until things get real. Rebecca's worse fears become reality and Scott runs away from their problems. This makes it easy for Becca to break things off with Scott. Of course, telling your heart is much different and difficult than telling your mind. A year later, Becca is ready to move on with somebody else, but finds it difficult when Scott is at every party and seems to be stalking her. Scott tries to put Becca in the past, but he can't give up on what they had together. He is willing to do whatever it takes to win Becca back and have her in his life again. He knows he will eventually have to share all of his secrets and he is not sure if she will accept him afterwards. However, he knows he has to regain her trust and at the same time realizes he will lose her trust when the truth comes out. I really liked their chemistry in this book, however wanted more. It is a novella to a series, but I still felt like it needed more. It is an easy read and you will find yourself cheering for Scott and cursing both of their stubborn ways.
