I don't think I enjoyed it very much. It was a bit dreary, still no conclusion until the end. Too many death and hope, well hope is probably very, very little. They were also abandoned by the authorities. Simultaneously reading this while my hometown is actually facing a crisis... ie a flood (bad ones, the hospital has no electricity and is now an island) is way too close for comfort. So, not going to continue with the sequel.It does have its moments but a bit meh. The way we fall is an amazing book. It is about an outbreak of an unknown disease. First it starts with small symptoms then increases to the level of where you have gone out of your mind. Kaylen and her friends must find some way to get the cure and find it, for everyone that they have ever known or ever loved have died or is dying. Who ever hasn't died or is positive for the disease have all boarded themselves up in their homes not making any contact with anyone outside. Kaylen gets a negative effect from this and is determined to fight the disease and win the battle before it is to late. Will kaylen and her gang find the cure in time before it spreads to the mainland? Or does it get to her first?The way the storyline and plot were written was very suspenseful and detailed. I wasn't able to put down this book. Megan Crewe the author of the book has written in a style that would interest any reader of any level. It is an easy book to read. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a mysterious and suspenseful story.
