The frog plans his great escape and reaches safety.This book is great as it uses the same two letters (AH) but in different ways such as ‘Ah ha’ or ‘Ha ha’. Which is a nice pattern that children can pick up on their own and a nice book to read out loud.This book is aimed at key stage one children and this book can be used to explore expression and feelings that we verbalise. This adorable and entertaining book is about the ups, downs, and adventures of a frog’s day. The text is various combinations of the letters A and H (and an exclamation point). It’s very similar to the book Ball, by Mary Sullivan. Children can practice reading on their own with this book and you can teach them about inflection.I recommend this for one-to-one or story-time reading with children ages 3-6.
