This one I enjoyed and the premise wasn't something I was expecting with was good. At the start it follows our main character in a high school. The only thing that is different here is that instead of it being a regular high school like in most mangas its actually a high school for clones of famous historical figures. Later on in the series though it gets much darker and goes in a direction that I didn't see coming. The art felt like the cold be realistic and it was well drawn, I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of science fiction or just a fan of manga in general. I lent a couple issues of the comic "Miserable Americans" by Evan Derian to a co-worker and after reading them he brought up this series "Afterschool Charisma" because they deal with a similar core plot element, clones of famous people. JFK happens to be in both of them as well. Aside from the obvious "does a clones life have real meaning or worth stuff" the similarities pretty much end there. Anyway... "Afterschool Charisma" is well drawn and has some interesting character interactions, but largely I was bored by the clones of famous people in a boarding school thing. The first volume has one very big dramatic "OH Shit!" moment that kept me reading into the second volume.
A fun manga. And a interesting topic to write about. Drawings are quite clear, which is nice. :)
