About book After Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil (2013)

I read "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" when it first came out but my husband hadn't read it. We decided to visit Savannah for a joint birthday trip so I suggested that we listen to the audio book together. I loved it the first time and loved it even more the second, seeing it through my husband's eyes as well. We finished the audio book as we were driving from Nashville to Savannah where we went on a tour, Beyond the Good and Evil tour, hours after finishing the book and on Halloween. It was perfect. Our tour guide recommended, "After Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" so we picked up an autographed copy and I read it aloud on the drive home from Savannah to Nashville. There were many facts and insights that weren't covered in the original book. After reading the first book, I was on the fence as to Mr. Williams' guilt or innocence; however, after readying "After Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" there is no doubt in my mind that Mr. Williams acted in self defense. Well, I read the first book, saw the movie, and now this book was supposed to offer a deeper true-to-life story in regards to Jim Williams. Despite some of the reviews, curiosity killed the cat. As stated in one of the reviews, I did finish this book in a single sitting and I liked it. Having been familiar with the story, it was good to learn more of the details about Jim and his way of life. still, I came away wondering if he really did it. You never can tell about people sometimes, but karma is not something that should be taken very lightly.

Although this was somewhat interesting, I never quite finished it. I may come back to it later.
