This is a fun, light read that is perfect for travel. I connected with this book because it takes place in Provence in Southern France, and there are many memories I have from there. It is interesting that it is told from the perspective of several of the characters instead of just one, so the reader gets inside of the story even more. There are many complications throughout the book, but like any good romance, it ends happily. I totally checked out this book for its cover. Seriously, a charming house in front of a field of lavender? It just screams "peace." The story was just as charming as the cover promised. In their 50s, Olivia and Brody have planned a weekend destination wedding at Olivia's friend's Inn in France. I like the way their love is portrayed, and the way the problems with Olivia's children are articulated. Her two grown daughters each have issues with love and relationships, and what better time and place to reflect on that than at a wedding?
