About book A Tailor-Made Bride (2010)

While I thoroughly enjoyed the humor and romantic elements of this sweet historical tale, I appreciated the author's care in handling two sides of the fashion/beauty controversy that was central to the plot. It was nice to be reminded that God created beauty for us to enjoy, while keeping vanity in check by focusing on inward character. This theme was skillfully woven through numerous story threads making it "tailor-made" for this book. I look forward to reading more by this author. Nice story! One thing: in my copy was a page missing and in the place of that page was another one. I don't remember the exact numbers, but say on page 140 page 267 was printed (and 267 came again in the right place, they weren't switched). It's not very dramatic, but the page was missing at a rather crucial point, so it was kind of annoying not to know why Jericho changed his mind about Hannah's store (the page missing is the one where he's studying Proverbs and just when he reads that the woman mentioned there had fancy clothes, it goes to page 267 or something). Anyone else with this problem?

Uber-Christian (some serious preaching and teaching) romance. Cute little story.
