I'm not really sure what to say about this story. I love second chances and I don't have a problem with bully/bullied relationship if properly explained, but here it wasn't. Isaac was a sweet character, but there was zero groveling and apologizing! Other than one lame 'could you forgive me' there was nothing! If they'd been just the school enemies or something I could buy it, but how could someone forgive a person who humiliated him, shoved him into a locker and so on just because he looks hot now?? Oh and about that: I really really hated healing - or forgiving in that case, apparently - cock trope here. If the MCs started slowly, getting Rafi time to see Isaac as a changed person now, letting him forgive the past - it would be okay for me, but jumping into bed right away was just so wierd for me it really pissed me off. I don't think sex cures everything. All in all not a bad story, but I definitely needed it to unfold differently. 4.5 stars--a quick, tender read. Can Rafi, a sweet professional who had been bullied as a child, learn to trust sports star Isaac, his bully who had been attracted to him all along and had bullied as a means of denying that attraction? Isaac, who has loved Rafi since they were children, declares his love, won't give up, and persuades Rafi to give him a chance. Although not easy, how can Rafi resist this now gentle, genuine man with so much love to share?
