What?! This is a student teacher romance. But really it is a student/teacher harmless crush in which nothing ever really happens. Where is the dirt? Where is the drama? Eden, an eighteen year old high school senior, (which already takes the juiciness down because, well, its legal) and a self centered rich girl with no depth, falls in love with the new music teacher. I have no idea why, because all we know of him is that he has a passion for music. But this tidbit seems to be enough for her to realize that her life thus far has been shallow. Eden spends the rest of the book struggling with the fact that she is not good enough for this angel of a man. They have some argument, not about it being a student/teacher relationship, and break it off. Both go on their merry ways to being better people for having met, not to see each other until after graduation. The end. A very G- rated affair. Ok, let me start off by saying that the book WAS good....BUT!!!!!!!! How do you end something like that and never do anymore with it?! At first I was somewhat pissed that I had to go in and pay for a sequel but, the book was good and I looked forward to reading more about Eden and James....especially without all the sexual angst. Then, much to my dismay, I learn there is no sequel! Are you kidding me! I feel jipped! Some may disagree here but when books end that way, I feel like I wasted my time. With this one being written in 2008, chances for a sequel are pretty much non-existent. Why invest in characters if it's going to leave you wanting more to no avail! I knocked off one star for the lack of conclusion. Don't leave me to my own devices, to come up with my own ending, that's why I'm not an author! 3 stars.
Do You like book A Season Of Eden (2008)?
Intrigante al comienzo, confuso en el medio y un final mehhh! No fue suficiente.
