Mischa and Tom were equals. Tom is the submissive but isn't afraid to ask for what he wants. He is very intelligent and is in graduate school. It was nice to read about a sub who was strong willed and knew what he wanted out of life. I loved Mischa. Mischa may be a big bad dom but he shows his softer caring side all throughout the book. He also has self doubts about how best help Tom after he his assaulted. In too many D/S books, the dom is all knowing and all powerful. It was nice to see one who was human with doubts and fears. 3.5 out of 5This book was difficult for me to rate because it was character driven, with no real plot line. The characters were good and the scenes were not romanticize. Unfortunately, there was no real interaction with the outside world, making the events feel random.Everyrhing happend inside a bubble and dildn't gave the reader the opportunity to engage with the MCs. Lots of potential.
