Downloaded as a freebie.Incredibly short, too short and although the story line seems really quite good (reminded by a little of the Sinners on Tour series by Olivia Cunning) it didn't have any depth, I got to know the two sisters a little but nothing at all about the band, apart of a little of how they looked.This was obviously a taster for the sequels in the series however the fact that it was so short puts of me off buying the remainder (I haven't looked for them yet, they may be free) as I would feel very cheated by buying a book that took me only an hour to read!In summary:Good story line but very, very short. After reading this book, I have the same feeling that I had after finishing Big Girls Do It Better. Things go to fast and you don't really get to know the characters. But here, it works better because of where the plot is set. The guy is a rock star and things happen at an after party. You don't really expect things to go slow. So in a way, it worked for me, storywise. The ending leaves you wanting for more, which is always a good thing!Now I don't know if I'll keep on reading because of the characters. And that's why I make a difference in how it worked storywise but not really for the rest of the book. From what I read, the characters are not characters I'm sure I want to know better. For instance, Therese sister is a mean girl to her sister (who got her tickets to a concert by the way) and a general pain in the rear. She never misses an occasion to be rude or mean to her sister.Therese never says anything about that, just shuts up and let it flow. Also, and I can't say why if I don't want to give any spoiler, but her attitude at the after party left to desire if you ask me.Max seems to be a little different from the other members of the band at first beacause of the way he treats Therese and looks at her sister, but then he also acts like a typical self-absorbed rock star. So I wouldn't know if I really liked him...And with what happens at the end, well, the latter is more like it.Anyway, give it a try, it never hurts. For my part, I'm still pondering reading the next book.
