The plot of the book was very interesting. The tiger is cursed and Kelsey is the only one that can break it. I did think the book was a little bit difficult to read though. I do not like the writing style that the author used. I think she could've worked with the characters a little more also. Kelsey is 18 but her thoughts make her sound very old and very young at different times. I recommend this book because it is interesting and the plot is good but I did have a difficult time reading it. It was not a "can't put down" book, I feel like it was more of a "can't pick up" book. SPOILERYThe perspective from which this book was written annoyed me. The main character, Kelsey, is frustrating and whimsy and all-over irritating. She has a childish way of looking at things and a simplified view of complex things, but a complex view of the simple things. She's ditzy and empty-headed, and I disliked her. (The idea of the plot was the only thing good about it, I suppose. I'm only sorry I couldn't have liked it more).
