I'm usually hesitant when it comes to new authors. This was a slow build. My heart immediately went out to the characters, neither of which have 6 pack abs, a 10 inch dick or could model for Andrew Christian. These are realistic men with realistic baggage and it was a huge relief to find this story and this author. It couldn't have come at a better time for me. And Toms father won my heart. Great story. Oh dear. That story was a real kick in the heart. It was really too close for comfort for me: PTSD? Check. Immune system disease? Check. Depressive suicidal? Check. OK I cried while reading it. A lot. But know what? It helped. It helped me put my troubles in perspective. It gave me some hope. I won't lie, this was a really intense read. But that was the author's goal. And it worked for me. And the sexy scenes are really sexy and human and touching. Good job, sir.
Lovely story and I will be looking forward to reading more from this author for sure.
