Listened to the audiobook during work to make me feel like I was getting more things done. There were enough characters that at times I was confused to what was happening since the reader didn't give clear separation of events. Otherwise, it was fairly average for me and helped pass the time. It was a different approach with Samuel being a writer, but there were parts where I felt the dialogue wasn't natural and would pull me out of the story. In this book, Lily and Samuel meet at a literary masquerade. They are instantly drawn to each other. The only problem is that he has a reputation of seducing a lot of women. Lily however is also about to be engaged to a childhood friend. However, that is put to an end when Lily witnesses something disturbing that concerns her fiancee. By becoming a housekeeper at Samuel's residence, is she soley the housekeeper or is she entering into a more desirable position? An entertaining and interesting book that makes sure the reader doesnt want to put it down
Do You like book A Dukes Temptation (2011)?
I thought this was DULL and Hunter tried too hard to be clever. Wasn't impressed (shrugs).
