After finishing the Coda Series, I came back to the Campus Cravings books and picked up with Kade and Lark. I really enjoyed the book as it dealt with the serious issue of living with HIV and still being able to enjoy your life and learning how to love after feeling like a failure in your life. There were happy and sad times, but in the end, these boys learned how to deal with what was thrown at them and they survived, stronger than ever!I also loved that we were introduced to Cattle Valley in these books, which is a sort of spin off to the CC books but is a whole other series to get to after this one! It was nice to see Kade coming to terms with his HIV status after many years. Could anyone be cuter and more determined than Lark? He certainly has an inner core of steel and able to go after whatever he wants and expect to get it. Wonderful story.***As you'll have noticed, I don't really write "reviews", just my own rambling thoughts and impressions. (I've decided to include this on all "reviews" just so people know. Maybe I should put it at the top?)***
