لقد فرحت جدا بقدر الالم الذي أصابني .... إنها علوم أبائنا المسلومون الذين حكموا العالم انذاك ....يجب على كل مسلم قرائة هذا الكتاب ليتأكد أن العلوم التي يفتخر بها الغرب ويطورونها وينسبون اليهم الإكتشافات ما هي تكملةلما تركه لنا أجدادنا المسلمون وفرطنا في حمل العلم ...أساس اليوم هو الماضي الذي اجتهد فيه هؤلاء العلماء المسلمون ... إنه عصر النهضة ،العلم ،المعرفة ،القوة، النور ، الوحدة،إنه عصر يوم حكم المسلمون العالم بقوتهم بوحدتهم بعلمهم الذي لم يتفوق عليهم أحد ... كأنهم من كوكب اخرلا شئ ينقصهم.... لا كما هو متوارث انه عصر الظلمات الذي تم تحريفه من قبل الغرب ..شكرا لك يا بروفيسور .سليم حسني ..ولفريق العمل بأكمله .... I would give it 4 stars for the tremendous effort which the author dedicated to make this book.the book's quality is awesome, it covers every aspect of the islamic/or arabic civilization, it's informatively very dense and accurate, un-biased historically to some degree. the illustrations is well made and enlightening specially when showing how mechanical machines work.but despite all these compliments I was not satisfied with the book. the book gets very dense and detailed that it becomes absolutely boring to read, I even left off reading 2 complete chapters(market-town) owing to that. and at a lot of times when the book starts describing shapes of some mechanical/medical gadgets without illustrations using only words I totally get lost.ignoring these later disadvantages It's good.
