I loved this new approach of how vampires and beasts (werewolves and all the other species) need each other for survival. It is a win win situation and for once, we don't have the usual rivalry and contempt between the two kind of supernatural.I have to say I was also very surprised by how fast Amy got to know everything. It might have taken out some interesting moments and suspense but it still worked as this wasn't the most important aspect of this story.Great characters and very sad moments in the end even if you can guess what will happen. Well I love vampire and werewolf stories and this was no exception. This book gives another perspective on supernatural lore, and I loved it. Amy is a young reporter who is working undercover to find a killer, young girls working and living on the streets are being killed. Amy comes face to face with the killer, and then with her saviour. This meeting sparks everything. Marcus is a leader, business man, and rich bit most of all he's a vampire and his main concern is for his pack, his family. Meeting Amy has changed things and now he has to make sure she doesn't write a story about him which will reveal too much about his world. So now Amy becomes part of a new world, that she can't seem to walk away from. Marcus is drawn to her and falls hard, Amy knows it's fast but she feels safe and loved. This story was well written, great plot, amazing characters and with rival characters plenty of angst. Some nice twists and turns. The love scenes are hot, but intimate. It was nice to see Amy building relationships with so many characters not just Marcus. I would recommend.
